Optimisation and Operation Services define a continuous mobile network care
process where network quality is sustained during network evolution.

Optimisation services include typical hardware related actions such as
antenna orientations, or down tilting, as well as typical parameter related actions like changes of handover thresholds, or criteria for the mobile measurements. Moreover, the optimisation service is always KPI driven.

Operation services contain actions oriented towards deployment of the network and network optimisation covering areas such as configuration and performance management. Operation service is a support function for the planning and optimisation tasks in order to guarantee process based turn-key services.
